what to send to conquer monsters

Reapers (and all fortified) - ~2k ballista with blockers
Fallen - 2 white phoenix
Widows - ~2m lizards with blockers
Gargs - ~3.5m lizards with blockers
Lizards - 2.5 Catapults 1 hussar 1 ballistia 1 gorgon or 3.5m gargs and 1 lizard or longbow to extend the battlefield (note sending a widow instead messes up the distancing and doubles gargoyle loss)
Gorgons - ~2m lizards or 800k lizards and 1 bowman

Once you have the right troop types selected, you can maximize attack XP by calculating the actual damage you're inflicting. Overkill at first to figure out damage per unit sent, like a nice round 10m lizards to keep the math easy. Multiply the mob HP by 4.5m (slight buffer) and divide by the damage inflicted per the first calculation and there is your ideal number (for a 1 round kill). Divide by number of rounds your blockers will be effective and you have an optimal count. Since everyone's tech levels vary slightly, this process is probably worthwhile if you're trying to keep XP up or send out as many conquers/raids out at once as possible with a limited army.

200 is the most attk points you can gain per battle

my biggest quetion is what to use for bumps though.

For bumps you can use human troops gargs and bws 1 of each type

depends how many bumps you want to use, and what troops you are using

example

2mil lizards 1 bw 1 garg will give you 2 bumps waiste of the BW though
2mil lizards 1 garg will give you the same 2 bumps (using battlefeild size)

2mil lizards 1 bw 1 hussar 1 axe thrower will give you 3 bumps

The speed bumps will vary depending upon what you are conquering; that's why there's merit to the first post. For the most part, units/monsters with equal speed and range are fungible; so USE THE CHEAPEST ONES.

Let's take conquering Black Widows as an example. For the maximum bumps, use the following

1 Reaper
1 Black Widow
1 Militia
1 Goblin
1 Battering Ram
Various Lizards depending on your tech

With this combination, the lizards will attack for 5 1/2 rounds. All the bumps will die and all the lizards will survive (assuming you used the proper amount of lizards).

The Militia can be replaced with a Swordsman or Centurion and the Goblin can be replaced with a Prawn, Orc, Vampire, but those units are more expensive so why waste them? . . . . unless that's all a player has and they can't be bought in the market.

for bws i do 2 mil lizi , 1 bw, 1 axe never tryed lower i lose the wid
