 Smauls Guide to Farming Troops

The easiest way to find out how many troops YOU need is the following formula.

Send a raid or conquer to what you want to farm i usualy do 10mil lizards for first time.
Take the damage they did and then take 2% off and round to nearest whole number to make it easier (Damages will fluctuate a little better safe then sorry)
746,268,656*.98 = 731343252 Rounded to 730,000,000 damage

take the heath of the target, multiply by the maximum that can be in the group.

Gargs - 50 heath, lvl 10 - 4,200,000 = 210,000,000 (this is how much damage you need to do to kill them.

heres where it gets a little more tricky

take your damage from lizards (730 m) devide by lizards sent (10 m) and you get your damage per lizard.

730,000,000/10,000,000 = 73 damage per lizard

take the amount of damage needed to kill (210 m) devide by damage per lizard (73)

210,000,000/73= 2876712 lizard to kill the gargs in 1 round.

if you plan on using bumps, i hardly do as i like each troop i have, but if you send lizards and a garg at any mob the lizards will always get 2 rounds of attacks before dying, no reason to send a 120 speed mob when using this method as the range of the lizards will keep the garg safe the first round (120 range vs 90 speed, this is why the gargoyles stay safe when you attack lizards with gargs and a liz)

take your lizards needed, i usualy round up just a little, so 2,900,000 and devide by 2


so in the senario above
if you send 2.9 mil lizards at gargoyles you will not lose anything.
if you send 1.45 mil lizards and a garg at gargoyles you will only lose the garg.

one thing i would add is DO NOT RAID! it is a waste of health.

Sometimes raiding is more profitable. Recently, monsters are selling for so little gems that selling gold from raids actually nets more gems than selling the monsters.

For example: right now, gold is selling for .00000157 gems per gold

Five raids will yield 49,999,995 gold (9,999,999 gold from each raid provided enough monsters/troops are sent for the conquer. For Black Widows, I send 25 million lizards). 49,999,995 gold x .00000157 gems/gold = 78.49999215 gems

Compare this to black widows, currently selling at .00007114 . Since the average conquer is 630,000 bws: 630,000 black widows x .00007114 gems/black widow = 44.8182 gems

78.5 gems from raids vs 44.8 gems from 1 conquer

googler you are supposed to raid SHs to kill the monsters without having to deal with the wall defenses. you only conquer after all the monsters inside are dead.
